“The drug product is compounded for an individual patient based on receipt of a prescription” (FDA.gov). The medication is dispensed to the individual patient to prevent reactions or to alleviate side effects related to the brand medication. SWL utilizes a 503A for their GLP medications. The prescription will be shipped to your house or to the office for you to pick up.

A 503B Pharmacy is considered an outsourcing facility meaning they can distribute bulk orders to clinics or pharmacies. Outsourcing facilities are restricted from compounding bulk drugs substances (or API) unless:
the bulk drug substance appears on a list identifying bulk drug substances for which there is a clinical need.
the drug compounded from the bulk drug substance is on FDA’s drug shortage list at the time of compounding, distribution and dispensing.
Tirzepatide and semaglutide do not currently appear on the 503B bulks list or on FDA’s drug shortage list.

Scottsboro Weight Loss intends to strictly follow FDA guidelines for the production and distribution of GLP-1s.
Currently SWL requires patients to be seen for every refill of any medication and for a prescription to be ordered.
SWL only orders GLP-1s from 503A pharmacies located in the United States and with valid state licenses for Alabama and the surrounding states.
SWL also can provide the contact information for the 503A pharmacies on request by you.
SWL values our patients and we feel all patients should be aware of FDA rulings and where we source our medication.
SWL is in the process of obtaining our Legit Script Certification as required by advertising and payment processing regulations.

To keep your skin healthy and looking its best, you need a combination of lifestyle habits, gentle skincare, and protection — not a complicated product list.

Use a mild, sulfate-free cleanser suited to your skin type. Wash your face in the morning and before bed, and after sweating or heavy activity. Avoid harsh scrubs, which can damage the skin barrier.
